According to the official Brawl website, the Wii’s most anticipated game has been officially delayed. The U.S. release is now set for March 9, 2008. (In this game’s case, it is actually important to include the release year.) If you are Japanese or speak the language, you can get your hands on a copy of the title substantially earlier. The release date in Japan is set for January 31. The statement from the official Brawl website reads as follows: Notice – “Due to delays in the completion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, we’ve had to change the release date of the game to Sunday, March 9. I deeply apologize to the people who have looked forward to playing the game for so long and ask that you hold on just a little longer. Thank you for your patience.” – Masahiro Sakurai
