The development team behind the smash hit BioShock is looking for new members to help with future PS3 projects. According to 2K Boston’s official website, the company is looking for a Tools Programmer and a Senior Console Programmer that have the facility to work with Sony’s system. The page specifically states that “UE3, PS3 and production experience using Python or Ruby will be highly regarded” for the Tools programmer, and that “Experience with PS3 development is highly desirable” for the Senior Console Programmer.
This all points to the fact that 2K Boston will be hard at work over the next few months or years putting together a BioShock or BioShock 2 release for the PS3, or less likely a separate franchise that would propel them even further into videogame development stardom.
