According to Ubisoft’s most recent press release, they will publish a new Prince of Persia title sometime in their fiscal year of 2008 and 2009. The title will most likely coincide with the release of the feature film based on the series. Whether the new title will mirror the film or whether it will be a standalone adventure remains to be confirmed. The specific Ubisoft studio that will lead the game’s development is also unknown, however Ubisoft Montreal seems to be the logical choice. Whatever the case the case may be, look for the Prince to flip his way on to your console or PC in the somewhat near future.
