Microsoft Claims Best Attachment Rate

Microsoft Claims Best Attachment Rate

None

According to Microsoft’s chief financial officer Chris Liddell, the Xbox 360 has established a record attachment rate of seven games per console owner.  What that means is that Microsoft sells more software than its Nintendo and Sony counterparts.  This all sounds a bit fishy though.  Logic would dictate that the DS and GBA have outdone that number.

However, Mr. Liddell stated to CNBC that, “We’re (Microsoft) now at a stage where we sell about seven games per console and that’s a record certainly for any console and relative to history.”

He continued his statement by adding, “So people are now actually spending more on the games and accessories than they are on the underlying console, so that business model that we put in place the last couple of years is certainly starting to fire.”

If seven is a record, I wonder where the CheatCC viewership stands?  Look for a related poll question in mid-February.
