Nintendo DS Goes Cobalt/Black

Nintendo DS Goes Cobalt/Black

None

The best-selling game system in the US is getting a new color. On February 10, 2008 you’ll be able to pick up a shiny new DS in the Cobalt/Black color scheme.

The new color is the seventh color choice available to gamers since the system released in 2004. The other colors include Polar White, Coral Pink, Onyx, Crimson/Black, and the limited edition Gold and Metallic Rose.

Since the system’s launch it has sold over 17 million units in the US and 8.5 million last year alone. Look for even more colors to come out over the course of the year as Nintendo seeks to tighten their grip even further on the handheld market.
