Epic Games, Inc. announced that 2K Games, a subsidiary of Take Two Interactive, will use their Unreal Engine 3 tools for a number of future games. There is no word yet as to which games will be made with the software, but 2K’s President Christopher Hartmann did state that, ” 2K had a very positive experience working with Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 [in the past] since it enables games to perform exceptionally well on both console and the PC. Epic’s technology and support is expected to help 2K produce world-class titles for games on any platform .” Look for a number of marquis properties to go into development for multiple platforms in the near future.
