Famed game creator Peter Molyneux is overjoyed with recent A.I. advancements that Lionhead Studios have made. As reported by Play.tm, Mr. Molyneux feels that there is a gaming revolution afoot. That revolution will be spurned on by artificial intelligence that is astoundingly realistic. Molyneux is the creator of, among other classics, Black & White. Thus, he is keenly interested in the advancement of A.I. as it was one of the underpinning features of the title that brought it such critical acclaim. Molyneux stated at GDC that, “I f you think back to the one thing about Black & White that was most fascinating, you’d have to say it was that creature that learned behavior and seemed, for a certain glimpse, to be alive. Imagine if you could take that and multiply it by a billion…” As the years have passed since the release of that title it looks as if technological software advances at Lionhead Studios seem to be catching up to the creator’s ideas. There are no details surrounding specific games in production that will use the technology, but Mr. Molyneux assures us that they are very close to an announcement.
