Kotaku reports from Destination PlayStation that Metal Gear Solid 4 should release on Thursday, June 12th. MGS4 will most likely launch with a PS3 bundle that includes an 80 GB model, MGS4, and a Dual-Shock 3 controller. If you’re still holding out for a PS3 then mid-June may mark your opportunity to get on board. In related news, the Sony Dual-Shock 3 controller will release April 15, 2008. That means you’ll need to get your taxes done early and wait in line at your favorite box store rather than in line at the post office. The long-awaited controller will retail for $54.99 and the release will coincide with the launch of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.
