Capcom Makes Moves to Secure MotoGP & Tenchu

According to Capcom, the videogame publisher has acquired developer K2 Co. LTD., and the rights to MotoGP. K2 is most famous for its work on Tenchu Z and will now become a wholly owned subsidiary of Capcom. By cementing the deal, Capcom feels that it “will make it possible to allocate development resources more efficiently in response to shifts in market conditions.” Additionally, Capcom has secured the exclusive rights to MotoGP (international motorcycle racing championship) rights for all systems and platforms through 2012.
