LucasArts announced today that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will release to lines of screaming fans in North America on September 16, 2008. The next major release in the Star Wars universe follows the exploits of Darth Vader’s apprentice. The story is a completely original one where the events will take place in the largely unexplained period between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.
