The Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Live Fire Weekend 2008 Offensive on Xbox Live will allow consumers to battle online against a smattering of developers from Infinity Ward as well as Mixed Martial Arts star Jens “Lil Evil” Pulver.
Additionally, Microsoft, Activision, and Infinity Ward will provide prizes for the weekend competition. The Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Live Fire Weekend 2008 is a 72-hour sweepstakes tournament that begins on Friday, April 18 at 12:01 a.m. EDT and runs through Sunday, April 20 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. Prizes will be awarded all weekend long and include shirts, autographed posters, and even Xbox Live points. Of course, there has to be an ultimate champion in any competition. As such, the Grand Prize winner “will receive an Infinity Ward autographed Xbox 360 Elite console and a Limited Edition Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare faceplate, among other items.” Registration is now live and will continue clear through to April 17, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. EDT at www.xbox.com/livefire/ .
