Due to an extremely large amount of server errors, the Metal Gear Solid Online Beta has been officially closed in Europe and the United States. Konami was forced to close down the Beta to non-Japanese participants as they were woefully unprepared for the sheer volume of testers that were bombarding their servers. As a result, the beta will be closed until further notice. There will be an announcement from Konami tomorrow as to when the test will resume. On a brighter note, the date of test closure has been extended from May 6, 2008 at 24:00 (PDT) to May 11, 2008 at 24:00(PDT). |
