Nintendo Channel Now Available for Wii

None

Previously it was announced that Nintendo would be releasing the Nintendo Channel to North American consumers to coincide with the launch of WiiWare on Monday, May 12.  However, many of you woke up this morning to find a glowing blue light emanating from your Wii.

Consequently, the Nintendo Channel is now available and is chocked full of content.  There are tons of developer interviews, trailers, and even downloadable game demos for your DS.  The game demos that are available include:

Brain Age 2, Flash Focus, CrossworDS, Jam Sessions, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, Cooking Mama 2, Disney Friends, and Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword.

Additionally, Nintendo will allow you to send vital information about your Wii to them.  You can opt in or opt out of the information gathering program at anytime, but it should act as a good way to keep Nintendo apprised of the likes, dislikes, display size, and average storage space, etc. of their customer base.

Speaking of storage space, the Nintendo Channel takes up 126 blocks to install along with another 126 blocks of accessible space to function properly.
