An agreement between Square Enix’s arcade unit Taito and Electronic Arts was penned to give exclusive distribution and licensing rights to all of Taito’s mobile titles in Europe. Taito is responsible for such arcade classics as Arkanoid, Space Invaders, and Puzzle Bobble (Bust A Move). The agreement gives “EA Mobile immediate access to an incredibly popular catalogue on existing devices while offering [them] the opportunity to bring these titles to new mobile platforms.”
