As you doubtless already know, Blizzard Entertainment has been embroiled in a drawn out legal battle with the creators of the leveling bot Glider. This program plays through the low level tedium and allows gamers to play with high level characters without devoting much time to the game. According to Blizzard, this program gives an unfair advantage to relatively inexperienced players who don’t deserve their falsely earned in-game status. As such, it is considered against the company’s EULA Agreement and players who used the bot will be banned from the game. There is no confirmation as to the length of the ban, but it is likely going to be a permanent condition. |
