A few months ago we reported to you that Ubisoft was branching out into other forms of media and making key acquisitions of companies and IPs to make their business that much more profitable. The first of these acquisitions was the purchasing of all of the intellectual property rights from Tom Clancy, including book, film, and video games. Now Ubisoft has purchased Hybride Technologies, a visual effects studio based in Montreal, Canada. Hybride Technologies is best known for their work on Sin City, 300, and Spy Kids. This begs the question, “What other Ubisoft titles are going to get the Hollywood treatment?”
