Nintendo Products Make up a Key Portion of EA Portfolio

In an investor’s conference call, Electronic Arts’ CEO John Riccitiello announced that the company has lost $95 million in its first fiscal quarter. That’s not the kind of news backers wanted to hear.

However, according to Gamesindustry.biz, EA has identified Nintendo as an important means for turning a profit. For example, the Wii title Boom Blox sold over 450,000 units just last quarter. As such, 40 titles are currently in development for Nintendo’s consoles; both Wii and DS.
