Gamasutra broke the news that, in addition to a $34.8 million loss on the books, The Wheelman and This Is Vegas are being pushed back to 2009. No new dates have been handed down, but thankfully it appears as though Midway should make a comeback in 2009. Here’s what Michael Pachter, an analyst at Wedbush Morgan, had to say of the company’s future prospects. “Notwithstanding the game slips and the likely delay of a return to profitability for another year, we remain cautiously optimistic that Midway will perform better in 2009 than it is expected to perform in 2008.”
