Pokémon Coming to DSvision

Pokémon Coming to DSvision

None

Early in July we reported that Am3’s DSvision media download service was going to be available for Japanese consumers. That service is now gaining in popularity and has captured a partnership with the Pokemon Company. A host of Pokemon animated movies will be available for download and retail purchase on September 11.

There’s still no word as to when the service will come west, but success in Asia could lead to success abroad. Keep your fingers crossed!

Here are some details of upcoming releases from IGN’s John Tanaka:

“The first movie will be Mewtwo Strikes Back, which will be available for download at the DSvision.jp site on August 20 at 500 yen. Four other Pokemon movies will be available as special bundles. Lucario and the Mystery of Mew will be bundled with all the hardware required for the DSvision service for 4,280 yen. The Power of One, Spell of the Unown, and Celebi: Voice of the Forest will be sold as individual microSD cards for 2,980 yen each. These will all be available on September 11.”
