According to a source close to PSU, Crytek is planning on releasing Crysis for both the 360 and PS3. The game will come bundled with the Warhead expansion. The Xbox 360 version will hit first between Q4 08 and Q1 09. The PS3 version will follow between Q1 and Q2 of 09. As of now, there is no confirmation as to why the PS3 game will launch later. However, it is rumored that the developers at Crytek are taking their time to take advantage the Cell processor, as Crysis is a graphics-intense title.
