Rumors and even false official confirmation has been flying around the interwebs. According to the rumors, Mirror’s Edge is going to release on the PS3 with timed exclusivity. This was immediately debunked by Sony, stating that the game will release for all systems at the same time, but that the Sony “has an exclusive marketing agreement with EA regarding the title, and exclusive downloadable content will be offered on the PlayStation Network.” However, it now looks as though that cat was not supposed to be let out of the bag. Sony has since reneged on their initial confirmation of the existence of exclusive PS3 DLC.
