MotorStorm Pacific Rift will release exclusively for the PS3 on October 28, 2008. The sequel to the PS3’s launch racer will take place on a Pacific island with “lush jungle, emerald lagoons, and towering peaks.” There will be eight vehicle types for players to choose from, including monster trucks. Also, multiplayer options and track count have been expanded. For the first time, players will be able to race head-to-head in “the new four-player split-screen mode” on a total of 16 “multi-route tracks (double the amount from the first MotorStorm).” To top it all off, MotorStorm Pacific Rift will include Trophy support right out the gate and if you pre-order through GameStop, you’ll have access to a “retailer-exclusive demo.”
