According to a recent press release, Heroes of Newerth has managed to get its name into the Guinness Book of World Records. Last weekend, pro gamer Sam “Milkfat” Braithwaite finished a seventy-six-hour long play session of HoN. The previous world record for longest time playing a strategy game was fifty-two hours. “I’ve been training for this for months,” said Braithwaite , “Even at the hardest times, I felt like I had to keep going for the charity and accomplish what I had set out to do.”
