Rovio has launched Angry Birds Friends on Facebook, which sees the inclusion of Green Day.
The game features 10 new levels with pig characters based on Green Day band members Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool. Players will also be able hear the debut of their song “Troublemaker,” in addition to the single “Oh Love.”
New levels and songs are expected to release in the coming months for the game, which may stem from the band’s forthcoming albums Uno , Dos , and Tre .
Although Kiss bassist Gene Simmons had previously said his band was in talks with Rovio regarding their potential inclusion in the IP, Green Day has become the first musical act to appear in Angry Birds.
