Konami Pulling Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes Trailer

Konami Pulling Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes Trailer

Recently, Konami unveiled a new trailer for their upcoming game Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. The trailer, unveiled at Penny Arcade Expo last weekend, has been available on gaming websites and video sharing services for some time now. However, Konami is now unexpectedly pulling it from the Internet, supposedly due to a licensing issue with one of the songs used in the trailer.

The common theory is that “Here’s To You” by Ennio Morricone and Joan Baez is the culprit right now, though this has not yet been confirmed by Konami. Konami has not yet commented on these recent developments, and they have been unable to say whether or not a new version of the trailer will be released at a later date.

For now, you can still find some straggling copies of the trailer on video websites around the net. If you do, be sure to save a copy for posterity, because it probably won’t be around for much longer.
