Black Mesa, the fan-made remake of Valve’s classic FPS Half-Life, is available to play today at no cost.
Featuring updated graphics using Half-Life 2’s Source engine, all-new voice acting, dialogue, choreography, and music, Black Mesa has been in the works for almost a decade.
Today’s release of the remake only consists of about three-quarters of the full game, up until the Lambda Core stages. The later chapters of Half-Life, along with the multiplayer deathmatch mode, will be available sometime in the future.
