Retro City Rampage will be shooting up PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PC in North America starting next Tuesday, October 9, according to a Joystiq report.
The downloadable action-adventure title looks to be a sort of 8-bit Grand Theft Auto, letting players wreak havoc on city streets while paying homage to the classic games of yesteryear.
Buying a copy of the game on either PlayStation console will net you the other console’s edition, while the PC version will be available on Steam, GOG, or developer VBlank’s own website. It’ll cost $14.99 no matter which platform you choose.
Retro City Rampage will reportedly be released on European PS3s and Vitas later this month, while WiiWare and Xbox LIVE Arcade editions will arrive sometime by the end of the year.
