PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Beta Launching This Week

Sony has announced that a beta for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be launching on Wednesday for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Non-PlayStation Plus members will be able to download the beta on October 24 th via the PlayStation Store.

PlayStation Vita owners can download the beta from tomorrow without the need for a Plus subscription. The beta supports Cross-Play, consequently allowing PS3 and Vita owners to play against each other.

The characters available in the beta are Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Colonel Radec, Sly Cooper, PaRappa, and Fat Princess. The two stages included will be Metropolis and Hades.

A four-player online tournament mode is also included, as is 2 versus 2 online tournaments, which supports friend invites.

The beta, which Sony says will help developer SuperBot Entertainment test the game’s servers, ends on October 30 th .

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale launches on November 20 th in North America and three days later in Europe.
