Street Fighter X Tekken Complete Costume Pack Accidentally Free

Street Fighter X Tekken Complete Costume Pack Accidentally Free

The PlayStation Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken is just about to come out and to celebrate, all SF X TK DLC was supposed to be offered at half off. Unfortunately, someone at Sony couldn’t do that math, as “half off” recently turned to “all off” in a strange PlayStation Store snafu.

Currently, the Street Fighter X Tekken Complete Swap Costume Pack is listed twice on the PlayStation Store. Its first listing tags its price as $8.49, the correct discounted price for the pack. Its second listing, however, tags its price as free to download for everyone. Downloading either the priced pack or the free pack causes the other listing to disappear mysteriously. Not only that, but either pack works just fine and unlocks all of the swap costumes on the PlayStation Vita. Unfortunately, the DLC character costumes are not included with this DLC and must still be purchased separately.

This is very obviously a bug or a glitch or something. Sony never redundantly lists entries on the PlayStation Store, and there has been no news about the costume pack being discounted to free from either Capcom or Sony.

Or else this is just the most ill-conceived stealth DLC promotion ever. Either way, act now before Sony takes down the listing.
