If you just can’t wait to get your hands on Starcraft 2’s Heart of the Swarm expansion, then you’ve probably pre-ordered it, which means that you’re about to get an early Christmas present. The Heart of the Swarm beta is being opened up to anyone who pre-ordered the expansion before December 18 th . So congratulations, head on over to Battle.net and download the beta client.
Unfortunately, if you were on the fence about getting the expansion and pre-ordered it after the 18 th , you won’t be allowed to enter the beta test, at least not yet. Instead you will be “considered” for beta play and put on a waiting list. People on the waiting list will be added to the test in waves starting early next year.
