Kasumi Comes To Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge

Kasumi Comes To Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge

When Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge was announced as a Wii U launch title, Team Ninja included details about a trio of playable characters beyond Ryu Hayabusa. Ayane would be included on the disc, with Momiji following in mid-December. Today, Ayane’s half-sister, and Dead or Alive heroine, Kasumi arrives as a free update to Razor’s Edge.

This is the rogue ninja’s first appearance as a playable character in a Ninja Gaiden game (or any non-DoA title for that matter). Just like Ayane and Momiji, Kasumi has her own fighting style, which appears to fall somewhere between the more acrobatic Ayane and Ryu’s baseline swordsmanship. Though, she brings rampant teleportation and a focused, laser-like Ninpo to the table.

As with Momiji and Ayane, Kasumi is also a playable character in multiplayer, further expanding the options for online hacky-slashy goodness.
