Star Trek Online has begun celebrating its three year anniversary today. As a gift to all of the dedicated captains who play the game, the STO team has developed a special anniversary episode dubbed Temporal Ambassador . The episode stars Denise Crosby, reprising her role as Lieutenant Tasha Yar from Star Trek: The Next Generation. The episode was announced in a recent press release from Perfect World Entertainment, which also asked us to “look forward to a wealth of rewards by participating in Star Trek Online’s Three-year Anniversary in-game event hosted by everyone’s favorite omnipotent being, the notorious Q.”
By completing special anniversary events, players will be able to unlock two exclusive starships. Federation players can unlock an Ambassador class vessel, which is the same model as the U.S.S. Enterprise-C. Klingon players, on the other hand, will get a Kamarag class Battlecruiser, an original design specifically for this event. It’s likely that Q will have even more surprises up his omnipotent sleeves.
