While a certain fighting series from Capcom has managed to sell millions of copies and enjoy the spotlight of the fighting genre, I’ve always personally preferred Darkstalkers. Heck, one of the sole reasons why I bought a PSP was to play Darkstalkers: The Chaos Tower. So to say that I’m eagerly awaiting the release of the XBLA and PSN versions of Darlkstalkers Resurrection is an understatement.
And the wait is almost over. Capcom announced that the game will be launching on the North American PlayStation Network on March 12 th , and Xbox LIVE Arcade and the European PSN the following day. It’ll cost $14.99/1200 MSP.
Should the release do well enough, we’ll probably see a Darkstalkers 4 release in the future. At least that’s what producer Yoshinori Ono would like.
So, please go buy this thing next month and play it with me while we dream about a brand new title in the Darkstalkers series.
