RUMOR: Jak & Daxter, Mickey Mouse Coming To Vita In June

It’s no secret that the Jak & Daxter Trilogy is slated for release on the PlayStation Vita. The title has been popping up in retail listings, complete with an ESRB rating. Meanwhile, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two was officially announced by Sony last month. Neither, though, had been given any sort of solid release date.

If Amazon France is to be believed, we can expect them within the next couple of months. The Jak & Daxter Trilogy is listed on the retailer’s site with a June 19th release date, while Epic Mickey 2 sits at June 3. Seeing as these are a Wednesday and a Monday, respectively, it seems unlikely that these are the US release dates, since North American releases are almost always on Tuesdays (Nintendo releases are the frequent exception, hitting shelves on Sundays).

Rounding to the nearest Tuesday (possibly rounding down, since European releases usually follow their North American counterparts) is probably a safe bet. It’s also probably safe to say that the games will each be priced at $30, since the Amazon France listings have them at 30 EUR. We’ll know how much truth there is to the rumor within the next couple of months.
