EA Won’t Say If Danger Close Is Closed

EA Won’t Say If Danger Close Is Closed

EA recently laid off a significant number of people. We know that the SimCity Social team was affected, since the popular Facebook game will be closing this summer, but we’re not quite sure what other studios were affected.

Danger Close, a developer that is best known for their work on Medal of Honor: Warfighter, is certainly on the chopping block, but EA is refusing to confirm or deny any of the rumors.

EA announced that the Medal of Honor series would be going into hiatus after Warfighter’s awful showing. If the studio is still open, it’ll be lacking several members, including former studio head Greg Goodrich who left the team in December. Warfighter’s creative director, Richard Farrelly, also left the company back in August.
