The next game in the Corpse Party series, a solid sequel to the original PSP game rather than a side-story or alternate history, is making the jump to the PlayStation Vita. Corpse Party: Blood Drive has finally been announced.
Not to be confused with Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient (which is still being developed), Blood Drive shares its name with the final, hidden episode in Corpse Party: Book of Shadows and continues the story contained therein. Not much has been revealed regarding plot or gameplay details. Will it feature the free-roaming top-down exploration gameplay of the original Corpse Party, or will it draw upon Book of Shadows’ visual novel-esque approach?
Either way, if the series’ history is any indication , it’s sure to be a frightening and uncomfortable ride. Hopefully XSEED will do as it has with the last two games in the series and pick it up for North American release. We need to know what happens next!
