PS+ May Instant Game Collection Updates Revealed

PS+ May Instant Game Collection Updates Revealed

The PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection is being updated for the month of May with a quartet of new titles, including one of the best action games of last year.

It begins on May 5 with the addition of Sleeping Dogs, the Hong Kong action movie turned open-world videogame. With its tumultuous development history, it was undoubtedly one of 2012’s greatest come-from-behind stories.

The rest of the month will see Sleeping Dogs joined by Pinball Arcade, with free tables themed after Arabian Nights, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, Theater of Magic, and Black Hole; Knytt Underground, on both the PlayStation 3 and Vita; and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend, the Vita version of the 2D brawler.

It’s interesting that the Vita is getting yet another fighting game added to its Instant Game Collection. It already has versions of both Soul Calibur and Tekken on there. There are no specific dates for any game other than Sleeping Dogs thus far, but it’s worth noting that, beginning Tuesday, May 7, Papo & Yo will get a 25% discount.
