For some reason Capcom has been canceling Mega Man games just in time for the franchise’s 25 th anniversary. Not to worry, there are still a few 25 th anniversary goodies left to come.
Like this statue, for instance.
This ten-inch figurine features the original Mega Man and his grittier counterpart, X, coated in a coat of shiny silver. Many fans may have forgotten that this year marks X’s 20 th anniversary, so both Mega Men are reaching an important landmark.
The statue will be available at the San Diego Comic Con this year. But for those of you who won’t be able to swing by Capcom’s booth, the statue will also be offered on Capcom’s online store. No pricing details have been revealed, though.
Each statue will come with a numbered base plate. Capcom has not released info on how many statues will be produced, but it’s probably safe to assume that your statue will be a collector’s item.
