Molyneux Finally Sates Our Curiosity

Molyneux Finally Sates Our Curiosity

With the final layer peeled away, Peter Molyneux’s first “experiment” with his new studio, 22Cans, has finally come to a close. Someone has finally won Curiosity . That someone is 18-year-old Bryan Henderson of Edinburgh, Scotland, who says he only started playing Curiosity an hour before he won it.

So, what did he win?

In a message to Bryan, Molyneux revealed that his prize would be godhood over 22Cans’ next project, Godus. Already funded via Kickstarter, Godus is something of a return to form for Molyneux, who has always had something of a soft spot for so-called “god games,” his past efforts including the Populous franchise and Black & White. This time out, though, one man—Bryan Henderson—is being given the reigns of the virtual world in which everyone else will play.

Beyond that, he’ll also share in the profits of the title, which presumably gives him incentive to make it an enjoyable experience for all, though he has said, “I think now and again I’ll definitely take advantage of it.”
