Following a brief campaign of teaser screenshots and videos by Lionhead Studios, Microsoft has now confirmed the production of a revamped version of the original Fable which will include the Lost Chapters DLC and launch on the Xbox 360 later this year. Fable Anniversary use the Unreal 3 Engine and offer a new achievement lineup.
Interestingly enough, the HD rerelease is said to integrate SmartGlass functionality into the game’s controls. That Microsoft chose Glass over the Kinect seems to echo the direction that the company has taken with the Xbox One, which is set to release at a similar time.
