Naughty Dog, as you may recall, is a two-team studio that secretly kept The Last Of Us under wraps as they finished work on Uncharted 3. As they finish up their anticipated zombie title, they’ve posted some job listings that give us a hint on their next title.
Currently, the developer is looking for co-op and multiplayer designers, as well as a Network Programmer that involves the “design and implementation of high level network code for next-generation console title.”
Naughty Dog is no stranger to multiplayer experiences and the emphasis on co-operative play continues to indicate the shift in the world of games. Titles like Destiny are moving the shooter genre into a connected and multiplayer-centric experience. Could Naughty Dog’s next title follow that trend? We’ll probably find that out…next year. Don’t expect anything new from them just yet.
