Crimson Dragon No Longer Kinect-Only

Crimson Dragon No Longer Kinect-Only

Microsoft’s time at E3 brought with it news of the console conversion of Crimson Dragon , a semi-successor to SEGA’s Panzer Dragoon franchise. Unsurprisingly, as its early demo suggested, the game would be staying on Xbox, but it would only be available on Xbox One. Stranger still, the game was previously being designed to incorporate the Xbox One’s new Kinect 2 system so completely that traditional controllers would be ruled out altogether.

However, project producer Yutaka Noma recently confirmed that, in response to overwhelming fan feedback regarding the game’s control scheme, Crimson Dragon will now support the Xbox One’s new controller. According to the Yutaka (via Siliconera ), this change was only possible thanks to the development time frame granted by the shift to next-gen development. Evidently, the prolonged development period has also allowed the team to show their “vision much more with this console” and radically “enhancing the dragon breeding system.”
