Developer Eidos Montreal recently announced that their next project, the pseudo-revival of the stealth pioneer Thief , will not be exclusive to next generation systems. Although no mention of the Wii U was made, Thief has been confirmed to be coming to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. Evidently, development between generations will be split, as the 360 and PS3 versions will comprise an internal project at the studio.
Producer Stéphane Roy commented on how development would be treated between platforms, and assured players that it’s “really, really important” to preserve the “fun factor” for all systems.
