Last weekend, pre-orders for the baseline PlayStation 4 became unavailable on the GameStop website. This probably means that GameStop is running out of the bundles to sell. As is usually the case with new console releases, most retailers will sell probably out of their stock within the first few days during the early rush. But the PlayStation 4 may have an early jump on the sellout festivities.
Perhaps more interesting is the fact that other PS4 bundles are still on sale. Any bundle that includes a launch title can still be pre-ordered, and individual local GameStops are reporting that they still have consoles available for pre-order. The standard PS4 is also still available for on Amazon. However, it is unclear how long the reserves will last. If you want to be one of the first adopters of the PS4, you should probably stop starring at this story and place your order.
