Martian Manhunter Coming To Injustice: Gods Among Us

Martian Manhunter Coming To Injustice: Gods Among Us

Just before the EVO finals for Injustice: Gods Among Us, Netherrealm Studios had an important announcement to make; the four DLC characters we’ve seen so far aren’t the only characters that will be available as Injustice DLC. A fifth DLC character is coming: The Martian Manhunter.

Martian Manhunter seems to be based primarily off of Mortal Kombat’s philosophy of play, at least more so than the other Injustice characters. He has a variety of teleports, flight modes, and zoning tools. His standard moves also stretch across the screen, a lot like Dhalsim from Street Fighter. Manhunter also appears to have a strange sort of teleport/grab ability that puts the opponent into a stagger and then teleports you into different areas around them.

He looks pretty powerful and possibly problematic, like Scorpion was.

Martian Manhunter will be available to download on all platforms sometime in the future. Though, an official release date and price has not yet given.

Additionally, a brand new skin and voice for Green Lantern was shown. The skin paints the lantern as John Stewart instead of Hal Jordan, and while that probably means little to casual Injustice players, comic book fans are drooling right now. Trust me.
