Valve’s Pipeline Helps Teenagers Enter The World of Game Design

Valve’s Pipeline Helps Teenagers Enter The World of Game Design

Valve has announced a new program called Pipeline that will help young students learn more about the gaming industry. Essentially, the program takes a group of inexperienced teenagers who are interested in videogames and teaches them the basics of game design and the industry. The whole project is collaborative. Even the program’s webpage was made by participants. Valve hopes that these teenagers will share the knowledge that they gain through Pipeline with other interested teens who might be interested in the industry. Much of this will be done via website updates, video blogs, and more media made by the chosen teens. They will also accept questions from the community and attempt to answer them.

For more information on Pipeline, check out the official Pipeline website.
