It was only a matter of time: with Disgaea 3 making its way to the PlayStation Vita close to its launch, it seemed a bit perplexing that the latest game in the series, Disgaea 4, had not followed suit.
That is slated to change in January of next year. At least in Japan, where the game will be released under the moniker Disgaea 4 Return.
While there is no word yet on a Western release of the game, it seems fairly likely given that NIS appears determined to bring the bulk of their library overseas, the Disgaea franchise being one of their earliest, successful properties.
