After the recent confirmation of planned Vita coverage from Sony at Gamescom 2013, the company has upped the ante by hinting at the reveal of PS4 “release plans” to be shown at its August 20 th press conference.
The announcement of a hard date seems likely given the timing, with the initial holiday release only a few months away, but the possibility of something as comparably bland as bundle explanations would also fall into the vague teaser of “release plans.”
We’ve already seen plenty of day-one bundles for the PS4, and the rumored release of a PS4/Vita bundle for $500 has yet to be confirmed or denied.
