Konami Confirms Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection

Konami Confirms Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection

Play-Asia’s Castlevania: Lords of Shadow collection is real. Konami has outed the compilation of games with the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirrors of Fate HD announcement and a press release. Come October 31, 2013, PS3, and Xbox 360 owners can either download the single game directly to their hard drives, or head to their local store to grab the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection that paves the way for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 .

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow — Mirror of Fate was released on the 3DS in March 2013, and was the first installment in the Lords of Shadow series to appear on a handheld. It continued the Belmont tale, depicting the adventures of Gabriel’s son, Trevor, and grandson, Simon, and marked the first appearance of Alucard in the Lords of Shadow storyline. In terms of gameplay, it attempted to pay homage to earlier Castlevania games by offering a 2.5D approach and some mild area-exploration elements, and our Sean Engemann liked it .

Konami hasn’t offered any details on what the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD update will entail. The port will surely have improved visuals, but there has been no mention of additional content or trophy/achievement support.

Should someone choose to grab the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection , they’ll get the original PS3 or Xbox 360 game, as well as the Reverie and Resurrection DLC, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirrors of Fate HD and early access to the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 demo. Pricing has yet to be announced.
