This October, Halo 4 will be re-released in a brand new Game of the Year Edition, a Microsoft rep confirmed to IGN. The new bundle will include Halo 4, Spartan Ops Season 1, a War Games Map Pass, the Halo 4 Champions Bundle, and all pre-order bonuses/limited edition bonuses that were previously inaccessible. The bundle will retail for $49.99. That’s all the DLC you could want for a price lower than Halo 4’s official launch price. If you haven’t yet played this critically acclaimed shooter, now is the perfect time to get up to speed.
Unfortunately, an official release date for the GOTY Edition has not yet been given. We only know that it will be coming out sometime in October.
